SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY

CARING FOR PEOPLE.

Through innovative design, engineering prowess, and world-class manufacturing, ETT’s specialized support equipment is made with operator safety at the forefront. ISO-compliant safety standards are the benchmark for the rooftop fold down handrails and the access stairs on the tanks.

Fitted with these safety features on certain products:
  • ISO-compliant fold down handrails and roof access stairs engineered to ISO 2867:2011, AS 5327:2022, and SANS 2867:2012 safety standards
  • Low center of gravity enhances safety by providing improved performance during maneuvering
  • Non-slip platforms for grip underfoot
  • Internal baffle compartments in the tanks offer best in class surge control increasing stability when driving
  • Work lights for enhanced vision in lowlight conditions
  • Ground-level access to components minimise unnecessary climbing
  • Remote controlled operation to keep operators away from pinch points

  • CARING FOR ENVIRONMENT.

In our line of work, caring for our environment is crucial and is incorporated into our product design and functionality. By considering the environmental impact of our equipment in operation, we’ve observed ways to minimise water waste when ETT Water Trucks wet the roads; while reduction in carbon emissions has been achieved by minimizing unnecessary transport requirements during the delivery process.

These sustainability aspects are featured in our equipment:

    • On-site installation saves the need for additional transport when the tanks are delivered thereby reducing carbon emissions

    • Ancillary equipment made to be containerized for efficient transport method versus large abnormal vehicles required for oversized load delivery

    • CDR Spray System heads save water by precisely controlling water pressure to maintain a constant spray width regardless of engine speed and flow rate

    • Large filling chute on water tanks prevent unnecessary water spillage when filling from an overhead water filling point
