ETT’s expansion into the North American market, one of the largest markets for construction and mining equipment worldwide, has already seen the introduction of the first batch of water tankers during late 2020. The production of these tankers and other ETT products will continue into 2021 and beyond.

Founded in 1995, ETT is a specialist engineering and manufacturing company which started in South Africa. During recent years, ETT has expanded their presence from Sub-Saharan Africa to offer a carefully selected range of products and services globally.

More often than not, ETT works through all the major OEMs such as Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu and Bell to provide specialised support equipment for mining, construction and industrial applications. ETT’s products are engineered to fit and operate with these brands.

ETT’s expansion into the North American market, one of the largest markets for construction and mining equipment worldwide, has already seen the introduction of the first batch of water tankers during late 2020. The production of these tankers and other ETT products will continue into 2021 and beyond with the addition of products such as the lubricant service truck, fuel tankers, and off-road lowbed trailers, all of which will be proudly manufactured on American soil.

“The speed at which we have been able to develop our global footprint has been aided by our relationship with strategic partners across various continents. ETT’s expansion is already significant, and the platform put in place provides a very solid foundation for organic growth of our products and the fortification of our brand,” said Managing Director - Andre McDuling.

The recent launch of ETT’s global website provides a detailed account of the products and services on offer across the global regions that the company has identified for growth.

One of the major benefits of the ETT’s global development is the focus on localised manufacturing in strategic territories. This hugely reduces shipping costs and shortens the time to market thereby allowing customers to benefit from the convenient access to their world class products.

Donald Paynter, Commercial Director, says: “Our global research and development team rely on collectively over one hundred years of engineering prowess and experience. They are focusing on the introduction of new models to satisfy needs within new global markets. Additional sales and support products are to follow in the months to come which will provide ETT with a significant advantage in the global market in terms of providing customers with reduced turnaround on enquiries and after-sales service.”
