  • SAFETY

    ETT'S TH4500 Tire Handler provides fast, safe and reliable operation. With safety at the forefront of ETT’s product design, it’s no wonder that there is an array of safety features and redundancy systems in place to ensure a safe working environment for the operator, as well as the mechanics working near the tire being moved.

  • EFFICIENCY

    Making light work of tire replacement in confined spaces, ETT’s Tire Handler range gets the job done safely and efficiently. Strong and agile, our tire handlers are designed to carry a wheel weight up to 4500 kilograms.

  • OPTIONAL SAFETY ARMS

    The optional safety arms will protect personnel in event of unintentional tire release. These are deployed remotely to ensure no personnel is put in harm’s way.

    Once deployed, the operator can grab the tire and a qualified technician, or personnel can safely remove the wheel nuts.

  • FAIL SAFE DESIGN

    A series of automatic interlocks are integrated into the control system, ensuring there is no accidental release of the tire. This includes holding valves on grab cylinders and software interlocks.

  • INTUITIVE REMOTE CONTROL

    The remote controller is easy to use and intuitive to operate and is designed with software safety interlocks. Years of exhaustive and demanding testing have shown that the remote-control system can cope with the roughest of environments.

    The system is also protected against electromagnetic and radio frequency radiation. The remote controller is also fitted with a safety emergency stop function.

  • LOW PROFILE GRABS

    The Low-Profile Grabs on the ETT Tire Handlers allow working in confined wheel wells such as articulated trucks.

  • TIRE MOVEMENT

    Tire pitch and roll can be precisely adjusted using the intuitive remote-control system, allowing the operator to easily align the tire for installation. Tire pitch is manipulated through powerful and accurate hydraulic motors coupled to the rotator pads. Tire roll is achieved through rotating the entire grab assembly with a hydraulic cylinder.

  • CLAMPING FORCE AND GRIP

    Optimized clamping force for safe and effective tire clamping. Grip studs on tire clamping surfaces ensure effective tire clamping with zero tire damage.

  • DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

    The claw arm kinematics are designed with a mechanical parallel linkage system which ensures that the clamping force is always symmetrical and accurate. The tire handler assembly is constructed from high tensile steel and is fully blasted and painted, ensuring high durability and long-lasting quality in the most extreme mining environments.

  • CRANE TRUCK CAPABILITY

    The crane truck tire handler is ideally suited for cases where the tire needs to be transported by road over longer distances. Tires can be loaded on the truck flat deck and installed on site. The crane truck tire handler is deigned to be road legal with an overall height of 4.6 yards / 4.2 metres when the crane is resting in the transport configuration.

  • OPTIMAL SWEEPING PERFORMANCE

    Our 620 Haul Road Sweeper is a purpose-built heavy-duty road sweeper which integrates with any 40-Ton articulated truck chassis platform. The wide six-metre sweeper brush automatically adapts to road surface conditions and covers a wide area to efficiently clear large haul roads of debris.   • INTELLIGENT BRUSH CONTROL SYSTEM

    By measuring the resistance on the brush, the intelligent control system adjusts the brush trim by raising and lowering the two trim wheels, allowing the sweeper to maintain the optimal sweeping performance of different road conditions automatically without operator intervention.

  • REAR SPRAY AND HIGH-PRESSURE NOZZLES

    Rear spray bars remotely activated from inside the cab. Penetrations spray bar sprays close to the ground.

    Brush head dust suppression by high-pressure nozzles in front of brush. The brush head dust suppression is achieved by means of several high-pressure nozzles that spray water along the front of the brush. Pump and plumbing in-line filtration separates debris that could clog the nozzles.

  • QUICK FILLING

    Large filling chute on the roof for fast water filling. The water tanks have self-filling capability with Perrot couplings for filling product and water tanks. Product tank also has a top filling chute with safety mesh, 1200mm x 1200mm.

    A 12 000 liter water tank is integrated into the main structure.

  • INTUITIVE REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM

    Designed from the ground up, the low-profile design is exceptionally stable due to the low center of mass, while the intuitive remote-control system allows for effortless operator navigation, enhancing the operator’s safety. Radio control with intuitive operation offers many safety features, which include audible warnings, limp mode or restricted operation and if necessary, automatic shutdown.

    The Remote Skidsteer is driven by four independent wheel drive motors and a spring-applied wet parking brake on all four wheels. Unparalleled packaging provides best in class accessibility for maintenance, and quick and easy servicing. The optional quick-attach device and additional auxiliary hydraulic functions present a great variety of attachments, both static and driven.

  • EIGHT-HOUR RUN TIME

    Fully programmable control system using ETT’s CAN-BUS technology. This allows features such as engine stall prevention, and automatic fast commute, among others. The efficiency of the diesel engine offers eight-hour run time, with an optional long range fuel tank available for 12-hour continuous operation. The fuel efficient three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine and load sensing hydraulic drive and work functions provide exceptional fuel efficiency, reliability and long component life.

  • ALUMINUM SMELTER BASEMENT CLEANER (ASBC)

    ETT's Aluminum Smelter Basement Cleaner (ASBC) is a durable and versatile remote skid steer loader. With a height of only 650mm, the loader can operate in the confines of smelter basements to remove alumina dust. The intuitive remote controller allows for easy and safe operation of the machine. Additional features include up to 600 gauss magnetic field resistance, remote controlled, and CAN bus control system.

  • BATH TAPPING VEHICLES (BTV)

    The ETT Bath Tapping Vehicle has a large capacity on-board compressor with 360-degree FOV and a precise programmable bath weighing system, allowing operators to accurately and efficiently perform their tasks.

    The BTV functions can be fully performed from inside the cab, as well as from the left and right hand sides externally. Rotating operator station in cab.

    The ETT LTV combines proven principles and mechanisms with quality materials and components. The ladle lift bed and self aligning lid utilises an over-centre bed locking mechanism to ensure safe transport and overall operation. Shielded operator cab.

  • LADLE TRANSPORT TILTING VEHICLES (LTTV)

    The ETT Ladle Transport and Tilting Vehicle is fitted with our second gen quick deploy launder, interlocking lift bed, self aligning lid, and our most durable power-head yet, ensuring exceptional efficiency and maximum uptime. The ladle lift bed utilises load sensing hydraulics, and an over-centre bed locking mechanism to ensure safe transport and overall operation.   • ANODE PALLET TRANSPORT VEHICLES (APTV)

    The ETT Anode Pallet Transport Vehicle is a robust and reliable solution for transporting new or spent anodes and other pieces of equipment in the smelter environment. The APTV is compatible with any power head and can transport anode pallets, bath tapping ladles, mobile hoppers, crust bins, tapped bath ingot moulds and any other equipment conforming to the weight specifications.
